I am experienced in creating atmospheres for interiors, gardens, and theatrical settings, and enjoy bringing my love of history and art to bear on any project I undertake. Murals are a favorite venue and I use a strong sense of perspective to achieve a vision of reality that can fool the eye. I like to mimic surfaces in paint, from marble and woods to exotic materials such as tortoise, shagreen and ivory, often incorporating gold, silver, or copper leaf. Recreating furniture and wall finishes from the past allows me to experience them today. I enjoy working with designers as part of a creative team, developing ideas into fruitful collaborations of art and beauty.
